CPS

Vantage's CPS product is a simple and cost-effective way of routing calls via an alternative provider. The local telephone exchange is programmed to automatically route your calls via one of our Tier 1 carriers without you having to dial an access code, re-programme your telephone system, or install dialling equipment.

Your existing numbers can be automatically transferred to Vantage via CPS and because no additional hardware is needed there is no disruption to your telephone service and the change is completely seamless.

Line Rental

Vantage's line rental service allows us to take ownership of your current BT lines. Vantage becomes your contracted supplier for the rental of the lines and we therefore take full responsibility for orders, customer service, billing and fault queries.

There is no disruption of services as the physical infrastructure remains with BT. We are simply transferring the billing and support across via BT wholesale.

Although the main benefit of Vantage's line rental service is the 15% discount we provide across all BTs lines, many companies simply want to consolidate their billing or want to remain with BT but find their customer care unacceptable. By transferring to Vantage we provide BTs reliable lines combined with our determined focus to deliver exceptional customer care. With a dedicated customer service manager you will never find yourself in a call centre queue again!

Vantage have an out of hours emergency procedure which can be used for fault reporting. The fault will be reported to BT in the normal way and if necessary an engineer visit will be arranged, usually the next working day.

Non Geographic Numbers

0800 – Freephone
Vantage's Freephone service is one of the most powerful sales and marketing tools available to your organisation. Research has shown a freephone number is a key factor for prospects in deciding which company to call and it has been proven that they can generate up to three times more business than conventional numbers.

The caller pays nothing for the call and you are billed per second for the call duration

0845 – Lo-call rate
Encourage customers to keep in touch by using a lo-call rate number to subsidise the call cost.
Lo-call rate numbers will help your business increase the effectiveness of Marketing campaigns and due to the charge associated may help deter casual callers who are not really interested in your service.

The caller pays a low call rate, regardless of their location and you simply share the call costs by paying a low fixed pence per minute rate.

0870 – National rate
National rate numbers can be a cost effective way of talking to customers and prospects when there is a assured reason or demand. If the call volumes are high enough, National rate numbers can provide your company with a significant additional revenue stream.

The caller pays a fixed national rate charge, regardless of their location and you take a pence per minute revenue share on the duration of the call.

0900 – Premium Rate
Vantage's Premium Rate number range enable you to reach a wide audience, whether it is your core business or simply part of your customer service operation, whilst having the opportunity to genertate more revenue from the services or products provided by your organisation.

The caller pays a premium fixed rate (you pre-determine) of the call. The caller is billed for the cost of the call and you receive a premium revenue share.

Mobile Data

GPRS
General Packet Radio Service is a mobile technology that allows data to be sent at conventional fixed line speeds. By sending data in small packets instead of large batches as in WAP, GPRS is better suited to the fluctuations of mobile coverage when out of the office. And, you only pay for the data you send.

3G
Third Generation (3G) services are the next step up from GPRS. Currently offering download speeds of up to 384Kbps, with higher speeds expected in the future, 3G is key to the future of mobile data communications, enabling bandwidth-hungry applications such as video calling and downloading large email attachments. As with GPRS, 3G services are “always on” and you are charged only for the data you transfer. In areas with no 3G coverage, devices automatically switch to a GPRS connection, meaning you can still transfer data, but at slower speeds.

Are you looking for a convenient, dependable conferencing solution? Automated Conferencing is the answer as it allows you to conduct a call without the assistance of an Operator. By dialing into your permanent number and entering a passcode, you are placed directly into your meeting.

If you appreciate having the security of a reservation Automated Conferencing is perfect for you. A Vantage Operator will schedule your call for your designated meeting date and time or you can make your reservation online. If you require further assistance during the conference press 0 on your telephone keypad and an Operator will join your call.

Holding a conference is as simple as dialling a permanent telephone number and entering a conference code.

Additional security is provided via a Chairperson/Leader PIN which means that the conference only begins when the Chairperson/Leader arrives.

You can meet for as long as you like, as often as you like. The Chairperson/Leader manages the conference call through a set of keypad commands. They can:
• Lock the conference to additional Participants and the Operator - ideal for when you need to discuss confidential information.
• Mute all Participant lines.
• Listen to a roll call of people in the conference.

• Recurring Call – A reservation is automatically generated for one year from the date of original booking. Recurring Call is ideal for daily, weekly or monthly team meetings and project updates.

Broadcast and Record Your Conference
• Web Conferencing – Add visuals and interaction to your Audio Conference. You control a slide presentation from your desktop while your audience accesses it via the Web. Web Conferencing gives you the ability to collaborate documents, share applications, poll your audience, tour the Web and much more. Present only the Audio portion of your call or add slides – the choice is yours.
• Encore – Digitally records your call for anyone who was unable to attend it live or would like to listen again. It is available via a freephone number for easy, 24/7 access. Convenient and time saving, Encore is one of our most popular features.
• CD/Taping – We can capture your event on a CD, cassette, microcassette or DAT to provide you with a high-quality recording of the call for your archives.
• Transcription – Receive a written record of what was said during the conference. Transcriptions are helpful for identifying sound bytes and quotes.

Enter Your Conference
• Dial-Out – Give your conference participants the VIP treatment. Dial-Out delivers your conference call to your Participants rather than requiring them to dial in to the call. You provide us with the names and telephone numbers of your Participants and an Operator will make sure that they join your conference.
• Direct Entry – Select Direct Entry to quickly join an Audio Conference. It allows participants to immediately enter the conference and start speaking before the call officially begins. Direct Entry is suggested for informal conferences.
• Music Entry – Participants are placed on music hold until the conference begins. Music Entry creates a formal atmosphere for the conference.
• Entry/Exit Tones – Participants hear a tone whenever a new Participant enters or exits the conference. It lets everyone know that a new Participant has joined or left the conference without interrupting the conversation.
• Announce – An Operator announces Participants’ names when they join the conference, letting everyone know who is on the call.
• Roll Call – An Operator broadcasts the names of all Participants who have joined the call. Roll Call confirms that all expected Participants are in attendance.
• Chairperson First/Last – Chairperson First creates a friendly atmosphere for the conference by letting you join the conference before your Participants. It gives you the opportunity to greet Participants as they join the call.
• Chairperson Last – Chairperson Last joins you to the conference after everyone else has arrived, creating a formal atmosphere. Chairperson Last is recommended for large presentations and speaking events.

Administer Your Conference
• Subconference – Pre-selected guests join a private discussion before the conference begins. Subconference lets you review last-minute details, side issues and other non-public information.
• Communication Line – Speak with an Operator outside of the main conference to convey behind-the scenes information, orchestrate guest speakers or give timing cues. A Communication Line makes it easier to manage a large conference.
• Custom Script – Craft a special message for a welcome statement, Q&A session and/or closing comments. Your script is read by the Operator during your conference. Custom Scripts offer you another way to personalise your calls.
• Group Mute/Unmute – You can silence all Participants' lines by pressing a keypad command on your telephone or by instructing your Operator. Group Mute/Unmute helps reduce background noise and limits interruptions during your conference.
• Self Mute/Unmute – Participants can silence their own telephone lines by pressing a keypad command on their telephones. Self Mute/Unmute reduces background noise from mobile phones, speaker phones, and the office environment in general.

Gather Data for Your Conference
• Polling – An Operator surveys all conference Participants. You determine the questions prior to the conference and your Participants respond via their telephone keypads.
Polling allows you to collect instant feedback and increases Participants' involvement in the call. You'll then receive a report with all responses that is organised by question and Participant.
• Question & Answer Session – Give your Participants the opportunity to ask questions during the conference. Participants can indicate that they have a question using their telephone keypad, while the Operator manages the question queue in a professional and orderly fashion.
• Participant List – Before allowing Participants to go to the Conference, an Operator collects the name of each Participant plus two additional pieces of information that you determine. The information is then sent to you via fax or email along with on-the-line times for each Participant.

Secure Your Conference
• Conference Lock – You can prevent additional Participants, even the Operator, from joining the conference by pressing a command on your telephone keypad.
• Conference Lock – gives you the freedom to discuss confidential information in a secure environment.
• Password/Passcode – Participants must provide the Operator with a pre-determined password or passcode to join the conference. You determine the Password/Passcode before the start of the conference. Password/Passcode restricts attendance and increases security.
